“We’re not looking for perfect writing. We’re looking for authentic stories.”

About the project

We are putting together a book that celebrates the experiences, humour, resilience, and wisdom of India’s Sandwich Generation — people standing between two generations, holding both together.

Stories may be uplifting, reflective, humorous, insightful, or thought-provoking. You do not need to be a professional writer. You just need to have lived it.

Together, let’s create a collection that celebrates the courage, wisdom, and hope of those standing between generations — because sometimes the people holding everyone else together deserve to have their stories told.

What to write about

Your story can touch on any of these themes — or something else entirely, as long as it reflects life in the sandwich generation.
